海岸線倒退 近海砂石場堆砂包防颱
上次「蘇迪勒颱風」造成台東砂石場業者巨大損失，這次「天鵝」來，業者堆大砂包自救，因為砂石場位於卑南溪出海口，每年海岸線的侵蝕倒退，已經逼近砂石場。
巨大浪花掀起，差點要翻過岸邊的石堆，台東的砂石場業者很擔心海水會灌進來，又要淹到自家門口。
因為上次「蘇迪勒颱風」，颳得海浪直接把外面的泥沙，全部沖進砂石場，不只泥沙堆積，連辦公室的電器都壞光光，讓他們損失慘重。
砂石場業者只能自救，在外圍堆起一包包大型砂包，但是阻擋泥沙的效果有限，因為7年前縣政府在岸邊投下消波塊後，就再也沒有做任何防護措施，連外面的石牆都是業者自己堆的。
砂石場向立委求救，但水利署第八河川局認為，這屬於自然的堆積跟侵蝕，泥沙沖刷所引發的問題還有待解決。（民視新聞李育翰台東報導）
